Direct Ancestors of Francis Everett Ladd

This list has been compiled from information sent to me (in 1986) by my second cousin, Harlen Bolles Ladd (Springfield, Mass.) He and his brother's (Norman Bliss Ladd) direct ancestors and mine are identical up to and including Harlan Page Ladd. Their great grandfather and my grandfather. My wife, Leta S. Ladd and I visited the New Hampshire Historical Society in Concord, New Hampshire on July 18, 1992 where we verified and expanded on this information.

Daniel Ladd was the first Ladd to arrive in the New World from England. Daniel was the son of Nathaniel Ladd of Wiltshire England. In 1633/34 Daniel signed up for passage to the New World on the ship "Mary & John". He arrived on 5 February 1637.
